Fwd: into the blue..

Dear Friends..

Most of you,  I'm sure .... know about my Ummmm.. world circumnavigation? ..  ..We'll around feb both Veronica, Apple & myself  fell off the planet.  

What happened??? ....during out 3 months in the the sea  of cortez... Well i just realized exactly have epic a journey we really-under taken.. simply realized that  the yacht would require more solar energy, more wind energy & more diesel energy  to cope with the long ocean passages ahead... So during this time i flew back & fourth between LA & La Paz acquiring everything necessary.. which also included having "APPLE" hauled out, then i added a second 88 gallon diesel tank, a second freshwater tank, a massive spinnaker sail for the fair winds, a storm jib for the less fair...!!  a wind surfer & finally had the SSB installed.. which will allow me to send e-mails whilst under way...

So on "MONDAY"  we're embarking on the longest part of the journey to date... crossing the Pacific Ocean.. 1/3 of the planet, the longest journey anyone can undertake between two land fall's .... 3000 mile to Nuku Hiva in the Marquasa islands.. famous for the incarceration on Napoleon.
